About The Author
Joe was a 1973 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After college, he worked at a mortgage company for eighteen years before leaving to write. Returning to work fulltime, he retired in 2023 after twenty-eight years at Wells Fargo. His first writings were not published so this will be his first published book.

This book includes mostly thoughts on various topics, including comfort zones, backaches, religion, crowds, exercise and gumballs.
There are chapters with statistics on baseball, basketball and football. Mottos, slogans, quotes and epitaphs are also chapters in this book. It includes chapters that will interest anyone who reads. It has been a pleasure, though a challenge, writing this book. I hope you will enjoy Grandpa’s Hodgepodge & Potpourri as you read and reminisce on your life’s experiences.
